When we had the band taste various flavors, this one was almost immediately the winner! And here it is: the result of our collaboration. Starting from a base of original mead with real coffee beans, this delicious coffee mead was created. What a delightful mead it has turned out to be. The flavor of the coffee beans infuses the mead, giving you a sweet mead taste at first, followed by the coffee notes. And not just any coffee—high-quality coffee beans like those found in luxury delicatessen shops. A fun variation for anyone who enjoys coffee or coffee liqueur. Our supplier has direct, one-on-one contact with the village where these coffee beans are purchased, making it as fair-trade as possible.

What is mead?
Mead is an alcoholic beverage also known as “honey wine.” In the Netherlands, mead is still relatively unknown, but certainly no less tasty. It is made by fermenting honey and water. The fermentation process creates alcohol, and thanks to the honey, you get a lightly sweet drink called mead.
